Health Care Plan: In-Network
Medical Coverage is provided through Blue Cross Blue Shield, which operates with a network of physicians and health care facilities.
As a participant in a medical plan:
- You pay small co-pays for doctor visits
- Prescription drug coverage is included in the plan
- You pay a deductible each year before the plan pays benefits for certain services covered by co-insurance
- The plan pays up to 70%-100% (depending on your plan) of covered medical care (referred to as “co-insurance”) for in-network coverage.
Health Care Plan: Out-of-Network
You can receive benefits when visiting out-of-network physicians and other medical facilities, but at a lower level of coverage and without the benefit of negotiated rates.
*HSA – In Network plan deductible is $4,000 per person with a max family deductible of $12,000, Non Network plan deductible is $8,000 per person with a max family deductible of $24,000.
**Please note that not everyone is eligible for medical insurance.
