Location: Long Beach, CA 90802
Job Type: Contract 
Duration: 6 months, possibility of extension
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour

Our client, a Fortune 500 multi-state healthcare organization, is looking to hire an Appeals Specialist who will be responsible for managing submission, intervention and resolution of appeals, grievances, complaints and/or disputes from members or providers and related outside agencies.

They will conduct pertinent research, evaluate, respond and complete appeals, grievances, complaints and/or disputes and other inquiries accurately, timely and in accordance with all established regulatory guidelines. They will prepare appeal summaries and correspondence and document information for tracking/trending data.


  • Position will start remote, however will transition to an onsite position once offices reopen.

Job Qualifications:

  • The Appeals Specialist candidates must be located in CA
  • Experience in eligibility/enrollment and benefits, as well as experience with Member and/or Provider Appeals and Grievances
