Position: Application Support – SCCM
Client: Tier 1 Automotive Supplier
Duration: 12 month contract with possibility of extension
Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities/Deliverables:

  • Setup, configure, and Troubleshoot SCCM Site Servers such as Distribution Points, Management Points, Software Update Points, etc. 

  • Engage with the latest projects related to company Modern Desktop initiative (e.g. Intune/SCCM Co-Management, Canonical Landscape). 

  • Manage service components throughout their lifecycle. Create big picture materials to convey product roadmaps and maintain technology component records for applications and infrastructure. 

  • Partner with engineers to complete required security assessments and documentation for products in the Client Management portfolio. 

  • Maintain a broad understanding of the service components and strategy, and effectively communicate to stakeholders. 

  • Develop and implement new strategies for managing client compliance policies. 

  • Lead knowledge management efforts for products in the portfolio, including development and upkeep of component knowledge articles. 

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory and SQL Server. 

  • Advanced knowledge of Windows Server (2012-2019) 

  • Working knowledge of Canonical Landscape 

  • Some exposure to Agile concepts (Rally) 

  • Strong team leadership and multi-tasking skills 

  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with minimal guidance 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Strong organizational and presentation skills 

  • Customer-focused mentality
