Key Responsibilities/Deliverables

• Implementation of new equipment associated with industrial engineering portion
• Installation of jib cranes, end of arm tooling for jib cranes, dunnage activity, time studies required for operators and machines
• Analysis of downtime in order to increase throughput
• Responsible for Engineering activities associated with improving cost, safety, throughput and quality

Bigger Picture

• GPS group within General Motors—involved with a brand new machining line that will be implemented. Implemented for generation 5 heavy duty engine block. Need an industrial engineer to spearhead this project.
• Extension of central group and responsible for all industrial engineering activities

Educational Requirements
Preference for Bachelor of Science in Engineering—equivalent experience is acceptable
