Position Summary:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures; maintaining departmental standards in accordance with policies and procedures, and up-to-date knowledge on new techniques and procedures. This position works under limited supervision independently performing Nuclear Medicine testing. Work situations require a service-oriented individual. Procedures performed require independent judgement, initiative, ingenuity, and strict adherence to radiation safety management guidelines. Internal contacts are primarily with patient care staff. External contacts include patients, families, physicians, and peers.
Minimum Requirements:
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
CMNT (NMTCB), ARRT (N) or equivalent or/ registry eligible and exam taken within one year of employment
Current American Heart Association BLS
Certified with the State of Washington Department of Health
BA or BS degree in science of health care field preferred
