Position: Rally Scrum Master/Agile Team Facilitator
Client: Tier 1 Automotive Supplier
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 month contract with possible extension

Key Responsibilities/Deliverables:

  • Facilitate Daily Standups, Story Mapping, Iteration Planning Meetings, Demos, Retrospectives, and Story Acceptance sessions  
  • Create and prioritize an actionable backlog of stories to help build new features with required definition of ready and done 
  • Work closely with Product Owner, Consumers, back-end data sources (internal and external) to ensure high data quality and high data availability 
  • Collaborate with Software Engineers and Architects to define, unblock, and split stories 
  • Validate completed stories by gathering detailed metrics for feedback where necessary 
  • Lead ceremonies that help define the work to be done, improve team process, and align the team to specific objectives 
  • Participate in governance, portfolio release train and other processes and ceremonies to ensure all work within the portfolio produces the most value possible 
  • Identify risks, and implement mitigation and contingency plans, focused on early mitigation or elimination of Risks 
  • Track upcoming Change request and Requirements to update test cases and validate specific requirements 
  • Facilitate adoption of relevant Ford processes, employ/champion Agile software processes, culture, best practices, and techniques
  • Partner with Product Owners and develop and as required execute test scenarios at various levels (functional, user acceptance) within Agile Framework 
  • Participate in triage and debugging sessions for in-house and/or third-party tool integration issues 
  • Grow subject matter expertise, provide guidance to other members on the team and detail our capabilities to help educate partners 

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering 
  • 5+ years Agile Team Facilitator or Scrum Master experience 
  • 2+ years of experience with CA Agile Central (Rally) 
  • 3+ years of experience with Agile methodology 
  • Skilled at capacity planning, story pointing and team performance metrics 
  • Skilled at defining and prioritizing product features 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to coordinate and establish trust and positive relationships across teams 
  • Proactive attitude and not afraid to ask question and ability to operate with an Agile mentality in an ambiguous environment 
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
