Responsible for (1) overseeing and directing the company?s Finance function including accounts payable, imaging, credit, and accounts receivable (2) providing the company?s internal customers with support, information and systems to meet the ever increasing demands of the marketplace, customers and manufacturers, (3) directing the audit of the company?s financial records, (4) advising and counseling senior management regarding the financial impact of major initiatives with the Company, (5) Driving M&A integration.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Develops and directs a productive finance department team (accounts payable, imaging, credit, and accounts receivable) by hiring, training and leading qualified people, utilizing effective communication and motivational techniques, providing ongoing performance management, rewarding higher levels of performance and by providing effective training, development, and succession planning.
Directs the preparation and analysis of key performance indicators for the team (accounts payable, credit, and accounts receivable) and statistical and accounting information to appraise accounting results in terms of profitability, performance against budgets/forecasts, and other matters affecting the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the company.
Directs and oversees all internal processes and procedures to ensure accurate and reliable reporting of the company?s financial condition and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
Establishes and implements financial policies, control standards, and drives continuous improvement efforts, to ensure seamless and accurate flow of data, enhance productivity and reduce internal costs. Directs the audit of the company?s financial records.
Directs and oversees system projects for areas of responsibility by working with Finance and IT resources to prioritize and execute system changes for compliance, profitability enhancements, and core business improvement.
Directs and oversees M&A integration activities to bring acquisition targets onto already existing business processes and platforms in the Finance department.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Position requires a bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance. Preference to hold CPA, CMA, or MBA. Preference to candidates with manufacturing/distribution business background.
A minimum of 12+ years of related experience is required including experience in accounting, finance, and general management. Must be knowledgeable of business functions and business aspects.
SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
- CPA certification
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and other technical accounting materials
