blueStone Staffing Solutions is seeking an Austin based customer-focused Technical Recruiter, with a passion to deliver the best talent to our clients.  

The Technical Recruiter will be supporting our Fortune 500 clients in finding the top IT and engineering talent in the marketplace. Your focus will be on driving candidate generation strategies. To be great in this role the Technical Recruiter must be able to successfully manage, prioritize and execute searches against a timeline and have experience setting benchmarks, metrics, and understand how to prioritize to hit our client's SLAs. Technical Recruiter Core Responsibilities: 

  • Be able to understand how to recruit passive candidates and possess the mentality to “profile people and gauge chemistry of candidates for fit and understand their motivation” rather than sell a role. 

  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management; conduct in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating the ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer-to-interview ratios. 

  • Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth blueStone Staffing, implementing any new processes and fine-tuning standard processes for recruiting that fits within our mission to deliver the highest quality results to our clients. 

  • Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification. Possess strong ability to screen, interview and prepare an ideal candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline. 

  • Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top performers for senior-level openings. 

Technical Recruiter – Basic Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree? 

  • 1+ years of recruiting experience (agency setting preferred)? 

  • Full cycle recruiting experience from sourcing through placement? 

  • Ability to research and learn new concepts, technologies, and industries quickly? 

  • Ability to effectively manage your time in order to achieve your metrics?? 

  • CTS/ATS software experience 

Technical Recruiter – Preferred Qualifications 

  • 3+ years of corporate and or search firm progressive experience including passive candidate generation and full life cycle recruiting. 

  • Must have experience with building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including proactive phone and internet research. 

  • Bullhorn CTS/ATS experience with sourcing, tracking, and managing candidates. 

  • MS Office- including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. 

  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects, and client relationships.
