Position: Mainframe CICS Systems Engineer
Type: 2-Year Contract (Hybrid Remote/Onsite Schedule)
Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ
Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on support for CICS/TS in a large IBM z/OS Mainframe environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot issues related to CICS/TS.
- Participate in the installation, maintenance, and upgrading of mainframe software.
- Ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of CICS/TS systems.
- Implement best practices for system security, optimization, and scalability.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to CICS/TS configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of improvements to the Mainframe environment.
Requirements:
- Solid hands-on experience supporting CICS/TS in a large IBM z/OS Mainframe environment.
- In-depth understanding of mainframe software installation, maintenance, and support processes.
- Strong knowledge of z/OS operating system and associated tools.
- Familiarity with mainframe security protocols and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
