What You’ll Do

  • Data-Driven Strategy: Collaborate with the Strategic Innovations team to deliver actionable insights and enhance retail strategies.
  • Big Data Analytics: Analyze vehicle populations using data mining, predictive modeling, and visualization techniques to improve performance.
  • Innovation & Automation: Develop mining automation tools, design search patterns, and execute data reduction strategies.
  • Mentorship: Share expertise and elevate analytical skills across the organization.
  • Real-Time Solutions: Support complex event and real-time processing in Big Data contexts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with peer teams to refine data sources and apply statistical techniques to solve problems.
  • Thought Leadership: Act as the subject matter expert for predictive and prescriptive analytics, ensuring alignment with best practices.

What You Bring

  • Experience:

  • 4+ years of data science, analytics, and Big Data expertise (Hadoop/Hive/Spark) using Python or Scala.
  • Proficiency in data quality analysis and data architecture.
  • Background in professional software development and visualization.

  • Education:

  • Master’s degree in a STEM field preferred; Bachelor’s degree accepted.

  • Skills:

  • Proficiency in Python (R is a plus).
  • Strong mathematical foundation and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
  • Auto industry experience is a bonus but not required.
