We're excited to offer a fantastic opportunity with our client, a leading organization looking for an Infrastructure Solutions Architect to join their dynamic team! This position involves a unique hybrid role encompassing responsibilities within MDOS Elections, Financial, and Legal departments. This pivotal role involves both Infrastructure and Application Architect duties, with leadership over Business Analyst efforts, in alignment with the State of Michigan’s Project Management Methodology (PMM) and Systems Engineering Methodology (SEM).
What you'll be doing…
- Analyze and recommend architecture solutions
- Direct developers in creating systems that align with defined architecture
- Ensure compliance with industry standards
- Analyze and propose solutions for web and mobile applications
- Lead the evaluation of business practices to establish effective strategies
- Assist in strategic planning, applications integration, and legacy application strategy
- Evaluate hardware and software for standards determination and process setting
- Conduct cost analysis and modeling for project and operational assessments
- Examine application development processes and tools
- Recommend updates across hardware, storage, network systems, and software design
- Craft and enhance Business Process Models
- Support the integration of diverse vendor technologies, including COTS
- Provide support to technical teams during implementations
- Coordinate architectural changes across technical and business environments
- Architect diverse solutions into a unified and manageable environment
- Advocate for enhancements to technical architectures of web content management applications
- Develop solution architectures from business requirements and existing infrastructures
- Stay abreast of market trends to align tech opportunities with business needs
- Engage in technology test plan development and execution
- Prepare and modify documentation as governed by the Systems Engineering Methodology
- Oversee and ensure completeness in Business Analyst activities
This role acts as the crucial bridge between non-technical business users and technical developers. The Solutions Architect draws from deep knowledge in business analysis and design to assist with departmental evaluation, visioning, and reengineering.
