Join the Department of Corrections' dynamic COMS Tech Team. We are seeking a skilled PowerBuilder Developer/ IT Analyst, eager to contribute their expertise to a thriving team!
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline
- Experience with PowerBuilder Development (version 7 or higher)
- Comfortable working in a hybrid office and/or home environment
- An eagerness to learn and grow
Required Skills:
As a PowerBuilder Developer/ IT Analyst, you will:
- Research legacy PowerBuilder source code to document the steps the application uses with data
- Write complex SQL queries to pull data from a Sybase and MS SQL Server database
- Develop processes to extract and manipulate data to support data migration and data cleansing of application data
- Perform data profiling, data mapping, data manipulation, validation, and analysis
- Work with source control technologies such as TFS/Azure DevOps, or GIT
- Document and perform unit testing to support program changes
- Create, update, and maintain documentation for programs, system specs, and flow diagrams
- Work with the client and/or Business Analyst to support test scenarios
- Analyze and document identified problems to determine root cause and provide root cause analysis
- Follow change management procedures and provide input to execute changes
