We are a leading governmental body in Illinois and we're embarking on a comprehensive project to evaluate and manage our real estate portfolio. We're on the hunt for a talented and experienced Change Manager to spearhead the change management aspects of this crucial initiative.
What you'll be doing…
- Developing a robust change management strategy to support the real estate enhancement and decommissioning project.
- Engaging with key stakeholders, including government officials and community leaders, to ensure their input and support throughout the project.
- Creating and implementing a communication plan to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Designing and delivering training programs to help employees and stakeholders adapt to changes in real estate management and operations.
- Conducting change impact assessments to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Establishing metrics and KPIs to monitor the progress of change initiatives and providing regular reports to senior management.
- Collaborating with project managers and real estate experts to ensure seamless integration of change management activities into the overall project plan.
- Implementing mechanisms for receiving and addressing feedback from stakeholders and employees throughout the project lifecycle.
The right person has…
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Change Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience in change management, with a focus on real estate projects and/or public sector initiatives.
- A Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) certification. A Prosci Change Management Certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- A strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Additional Requirements…
- Willingness to travel within the state occasionally.
