We are a distinguished organization, currently in search of an accomplished Senior Epic Administrator, ready to utilize their expertise and become an integral part of our innovative team!
What You'll Be Doing…
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Managers, and Directors to design and structure Epic's security framework, ensuring alignment with user needs and software foundations.
- Leverage analytical skills to research, evaluate, and implement high-efficiency business solutions that encourage standardization and enhance enterprise-wide procedures.
- Act as a mediating voice between technical and business stakeholders, balancing solution user needs with organizational strategic goals.
- Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one or more of Epic's applications, supporting users, owners, and administrators.
- Stay informed on emerging Epic security functionalities to ensure adaptive and up-to-date application security.
- Oversee security-related activities throughout various domains including physical spaces, infrastructure, and application teams.
- Make collaborative decisions on system-level access with application coordinators/analysts, fostering access ownership and delegation guidelines.
- Manage secure system access, remote access oversight, and ensure regular password updates and security classifications within Epic.
- Create and maintain procedures for new user authorizations and train them on proper system security protocols.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate system designs against client requirements.
- Participate in technical reviews and inspections to ensure project changes remain in line with original intentions.
- Provide support and conduct root cause analysis for production issues and errors.
The Right Person Has…
- A minimum of seven years of relevant work experience, with at least five years in a healthcare environment preferred.
- Experience with at least two major Epic implementations or upgrades.
- Excellent skills in documenting business requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility and analytical skills necessary for innovative problem-solving.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
