We are a leading healthcare organization in Southeast Michigan, seeking an experienced Voice Architect to join our dynamic team. You will be instrumental in setting up and executing a roadmap for migrating our voice infrastructure.
What you'll be doing…
- Managing day-to-day operations of our voice network, including support, process (ITIL and Change Control), and software tools.
- Developing department staff in areas such as support, process, and software tools.
- Coordinating with other IT departments within the organization.
- Overseeing the design, implementation, and support of advanced voice-related systems.
- Translating business requirements into technical solutions.
The right person has…
- Minimum five (5) years of experience with voice teams and solutions.
- Experience with complex multi-site VoIP networks.
- Experience in a multi-vendor voice and data environment consisting of hardware and software from Siemens/Unify, Cisco, and Avaya.
- Experience with tools such as Orion Solar Winds, Oasis, Comview, and Impact Technologies for performance optimization and capacity planning.
- Experience with Spectralink, ASCOM, or similar technologies for wireless communications, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Experience managing the design, implementation, and support of advanced voice-related systems.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently under deadline pressure.
- Ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems within converged communications infrastructure.
- Ability to communicate and influence business and technical staff.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer or Management related field or equivalent Health Care IT Voice Network Management experience. ITIL certification and past certification preferred in various voice and related technologies. Relevant industry certifications include Unify/ Siemens, ITIL preferred.
